The ATR244 Modbus Temperature Controller is a 1/16 DIN Modbus enabled Controller that can accept inputs from a variety of industrial sensors. These inputs can be 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, Potentiometers, or temperature sensors such as Thermocouples, RTD's, and Thermistors. The ATR244 also has digital inputs and current transformer inputs. It is possible to have a remote setpoint. It can operate as a heating or cooling PID Controller. The display is a four-digit bright display that ensures long-range visualization. The LED display can be enabled to read in engineering units.
The ATR244 is the first Temperature Controller that can be programmed by RFID from an Android device. It can still be programmed by Labsoftview on a regular PC and by Memory card and then can act as a Modbus RTU slave.
The power supply on the ATR244 can be from 24 V to 230 Vac and Vdc with 2500 V isolation.
The ATR244 has several output options besides the Modbus RS485 serial communication and analog 4 to 20 mA or 0-10V. The ATR244 also has control and alarm modes for the 2 or 3 relays with 2 Amp contacts, and it also has 2 SSR with a voltage rating of either 12 / 24 Vdc up to a maximum current rating of 30 mA.
The ATR244-23A-T is a dual channel controller with 2 analog inputs and outputs and a 24 Vdc power supply.
The ATR244-23BC-T is a dual channel controller with 2 analog inputs and outputs and a 115 to 230 Vac power supply.

ATR244 FAQ

I have an application where I need the controller to accept a 4-20mA from a Temperature Transmitter. The Controller must indicate the temperature in ° Kelvin. The temperature range is -80 to 1500 °K . Provide 1 output for PID control and another output for retransmission of the inputs. Is this possible and how is it done?
Yes, the ATR244-23A-T and the ATR244-23BC-T can handle this application. You can use the Pixsys App on an Android mobile phone and make the following parameter changes:
  • P-1: Change the input to 4-20 mA.
  • P-2: Change the decimal point to 0.0.
  • P-4: Lower Linear Input AL1 -80°C.
  • P-5: Upper Linear Input AL1 1500°C.
  • P-35: Command Output 1 select 0-10V.
  • P-36: Command Process 1 AI1.
  • P-40: Lower Limit Setpoint 1 -80.
  • P-41: Upper Limit Setpoint 1 1500.
