The PL700 PLC is designed on a Linux platform and has a CODESYS single device license, and comes with a CODESYS OPC UA server full version for data exchange. WebVisu HTML5 for visualization.
The PL700 supports the following communication protocols.
CANopen master/slave, J1939.
EtherNet/IP scanner/adapter.
PROFINET controller/device.
EtherCat Master.
Modbus RTU master/slave.
Modbus TCP client/server.
The PL700 designed to be modular and flexible, and still powerful. There are two different IO modules. Each module has a different combination of digital and analog inputs and outputs.
PLE500-6AD has 16 PNP digital IO which can be either inputs or outputs. Four of the IO's can be high speed 50KHz encoder inputs. It has two 16 bit analog inputs that can be either 4-20mA or 0-10Vdc. The PLE500-6AD also has two 16 bit 4-20mA outputs.
PLE500-8AD has two digital outputs and one analog input, which can be a thermocouple, RTD, thermistor, 0-10V, 4-20mA, 0-60mV, potentiometer or a current transducer. The PLE500-8AD also has one analog output 16 bit 4-20mA.
